Emotional funeral held for fallen Uxbridge police officer Stephen LaPorta

A funeral will be held Thursday for Uxbridge police officer Stephen LaPorta, who died last week while responding to reports of multiple crashes on Route 146. LaPorta, 43, was outside his cruiser helping another driver when he was hit by a tractor-trailer. The funeral at St. Mary's Parish in Franklin will begin at 11 a.m.
