The NFL playoff picture cruises into Week 18, where four divisions are up for grabs. On Jan. 3, Panthers-Bucs could decide the NFC South. If Carolina wins, the Panthers clinch the division. If Tampa Bay wins, the Bucs need a Saints win over Atlanta to secure another division crown.
The 2025 NFL playoff bracket will be finalized in Week 18. Here's a look at the division winners and wild cards as the playoff picture takes shape.
The NFC West has three teams in the 2026 NFL divisional playoffs after San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles combined for 38 wins, the first time all three playoff teams from the same division had 12 or more wins.
The Rams need a win over Arizona to leapfrog the 49ers and face the NFC South winner in the wild-card round. A Cardinals win allows San Francisco to remain in the No. 5 seed. The Green Bay Packers will be the No. 7 seed and travel to either Chicago or Philadelphia in the wild-card round.

NFL sets division-round schedule
Now that the Texans have beaten the Steelers in the wild-card round, the NFL has finalized the schedule for the divisional round. On Saturday, the Broncos will host the Bills at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The Seahawks and the 49ers will play in Seattle at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox.
With the Rams and 49ers both winning on Wild Card Weekend, that means the NFC West will now be sending three teams to the divisional round this year. San Francisco and Los Angeles will be joined by the Seattle Seahawks, who earned a bye to the divisional round as the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.
