Blacktip reef sharks are seen feeding in the shallows of Aldabra Atoll, one of the largest atolls in the world. Blacktip reef sharks are small reef predators, usually found on reefs and in lagoons. In coastal areas, they move in with the tides, using shallow areas to forage and find refuge. Their diet consists of fish, crustaceans, cephalopods, and molluscs.
