I asked Wayne to give me a short list of things he wanted to work on. One of those things, in his words, was “lift.” “When I miss, it’s short.” So we set out to find a feeling. I used the tee earlier in the week with another player for different reasons, but it felt like a simple way to help Wayne experience getting under the ball differently.
