Newly released body camera footage shows deputies negotiating with an armed suspect who was holding his child hostage outside of his girlfriend’s Los Angeles County home. In the body camera footage, 35-year-old Marcos Alfonso can be heard repeatedly telling deputies to shoot and refusing to surrender before turning his gun toward LA County Sheriff’s deputies, prompting them to open fire after nearly 30 minutes of negotiation.
